The guitar has been gone through by a luthier well versed in vintage resonators and give a great bill of health! Includes non original hardshell case. National Duolian (1937) A well preserved 84 year old squareneck resonator guitar, this National Duolian has a walnut wood grain finish (sometimes called piano brown) on a metal body with rolled, segmented f-holes. Description: National Triolian Resonator Guitars Available: 1928 to 1938. It has some “rust” spots on the front where the original pickguard was for years, also a couple small holes where the screws were that held the pickguard. It has various dings, scratches on the body and finish checking on the neck. It has a very old refinish believed to have been done in the 1960’s. Charlie quoted to Vintage Guitsr Magazine about this Duolian “It’s got some rust here and there, but it’s a good one” The neck on this Duolian is a large V shape.

Sounds great with both slide and finger style playing! Has an amazing mellow but loud tone Vintage National steel resonators are known for! With a slide the note really sing and sustain! This is a great example of a vintage National.
